In the winter of 2001, I took a two and a half week solo journey into the wilds of Yellowstone National Park. My goal was to hear a wild wolf and possibly see their footprints. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would actually see one, let alone an entire pack! From my first solitary wolf to skiing through a heard of bison, this trip was unbelievable. It was extremely cold, windy, and dark, but my heart was always warm and light. Here are just a few pictures that remind me of this special landscape and the inhabitants that so graciously let me visit in their homes. Some of these images are rather large, but they are well worth the wait! Enjoy! |
